Newsletter Sign Up Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

We’d love to keep in touch and send you occasional emails (approximately four per year) about our concerts and activities.

If you sign up to our newsletter via the QR code published in the advert in our concert programmes before 11:59pm on 31 January 2026, we’ll enter you into our prize draw to win a VIP Package to our performance of Handel’s Messiah on Good Friday, 3 April 2026 at 2.30pm in the Royal Albert Hall, London. You must sign up via the QR code and you must also confirm your subscription via the link in the email that is sent to you in order to be entered into the draw.

You will automatically be entered into the Prize Draw if you sign up for the newsletter between 18 October 2025 and 11:59pm on 31 January 2026 via the QR code published in the advert in our concert programmes and confirm your subscription via the link in the email that it sent to you. If you want to sign up to the newsletter but don’t want to be entered into the prize draw please email marketing@royalchoralsociety.co.uk and we will remove you from the Prize Draw.
The Prize Draw will close at 11:59pm on 31 January 2026 (the “Closing Date”). You must sign up to the newsletter in order to be eligible (“Recipients”).
Entry into the Prize Draw is limited to one (1) entry per Recipient. The Royal Choral Society reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify anyone that enters the Prize Draw more than once.
Entry is not permitted for current or previous members of the Royal Choral Society, their immediate families or anyone else living in their household. Proof of age may be required.
There is one (1) prize and there will be one (1) winner who will receive the following prize:

8 tickets in an exclusive private loggia box for the Royal Choral Society’s performance of Handel’s Messiah at 2.30pm on Good Friday 3 April 2026 in the Royal Albert Hall, London
£250 of pre-concert and interval food and drink delivered to your box.
8 souvenir programmes

Any other expenses incurred by the winner in taking up the prize such as, but not limited to, travel to and from the venue, overnight accommodation and any other food and drink are the responsibility of the winner.

No cash alternatives to the Prize are available. The Royal Choral Society reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of it) for an alternative prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
The winner will be selected at random by computer from all eligible entries received by The Royal Choral Society after the Closing Date.
The Royal Choral Society will email the winner using the email address they provided when signing up to the newsletter and entering the prize draw shortly after 31 January 2026 (the “Prize Draw Date”) letting them know they have won and asking them to confirm that they would like to accept the Prize.
The Royal Choral Society will liaise with the winner to arrange the fulfilment of the Prize.
The Royal Choral Society will publish or make available the winner’s surname and the county they live in. If you are selected as the winner you must notify The Royal Choral Society immediately if you are not agreeable to this information being published or made available, or that you require the amount of information published or made available to be reduced - you can send this request to marketing@royalchoralsociety.co.uk. Please note The Royal Choral Society may be required to provide the winners surname, the county they live in and their email address to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) to demonstrate that a valid draw has taken place, Recipients that would not be agreeable to disclosure of this information to the ASA in the event they are the winner should not enter the prize draw.
If the Royal Choral Society does not receive a response from a winner, or if a winner fails to confirm their email address within thirty (30) days of the Prize Draw Date, we reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to consider that winner to have forfeited the Prize and to withdraw the Prize entitlement of that person and award the prize to a reserve who will also have been drawn out in accordance with section 7 above.
If the winner is unable to take up the prize personally they can choose to transfer the prize to someone else of their choosing, or they can hand the prize back. If they hand the prize back the Royal Choral Society will award the the prize to a reserve who will also have been drawn out in accordance with section 7 above.
The Prize must not be sold or auctioned. If the Royal Choral Society becomes aware that the prize has been sold or auctioned the prize will become invalid. Identification may be requested.
The Royal Choral Society takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
Any personal data that The Royal Choral Society collects in connection with this prize draw will be processed in accordance with our privacy notice, and will only be used to administer this promotion.
The Royal Choral Society reserves the right to withdraw or amend either the Prize Draw or these terms and conditions at any time, and without notice, if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
By entering the Newsletter Sign Up Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The decision of The Royal Choral Society is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be invalid and disqualified.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
