Auditions

If you are keen to join the choir and experience the joys of a weekly rehearsal and the excitement of concerts in prestigious venues, then do request an audition for the Royal Choral Society, or book your space on an Open Rehearsal so you can try us out before you audition.

We are always looking for new members – particularly tenors and basses. You’ll need to be aged 18+ and will need to pass a very straightforward audition: these take place on Monday evenings, prior to our weekly rehearsals which are usually held at our rehearsal venue in Central London.

Auditions involve a few scales, a prepared piece, simple aural tests and a short piece of sight-reading.
