Join the RCS!
As we move out of lockdown and get back to ‘normal’ rehearsing, it’s also time to throw open our doors and invite newcomers! In addition to concerts and rehearsals, we have lost a year of recruitment, so we would love to welcome new members. If you have been thinking about joining a choir, or you haven’t found a choir since leaving school or university, then do consider joining the Royal Choral Society in 2021.
There couldn’t be a better time to join the choir. 2022 sees our 150th anniversary and we are planning an exciting year of concerts including Verdi Requiem at the Royal Festival Hall and our 150th gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

You can just apply for an audition, or you can come along to an Open Rehearsal – the next one is on Monday 21st June when all Covid restrictions will, hopefully, have eased. We’ll be rehearsing repertoire for our Classical Spectacular autumn concert at the Royal Albert Hall (opera choruses and other choral classics), and it’s a great opportunity to try us out and mingle with the choir members afterwards over wine and nibbles, to ask further questions.
