Kevin has sung in choirs since his schooldays and after a childhood as a member of Royal Choral Society audiences, he followed his father into the Bass section in 1985. At about the same time, he qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, having read Mathematics at St Catherine's College, Oxford.

Kevin has enjoyed a career as a consulting Actuary specialising in actuarial and other systems for UK corporate pensions.  In recent years he has helped a number of insurance and reinsurance companies with the technical management of bulk annuity business as UK pension trustees have increasingly moved to secure their members' benefits in the insurance market.  He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Actuaries where he enjoys socialising with current and former colleagues as well as participating in their charitable endeavours.

Kevin became a trustee of the Royal Choral Society in September 2022, and has taken the role of Finance Director where his knowledge of complex spreadsheets is tested.

Kevin is married to Caroline, and they live in Buckinghamshire with two dogs.  Caroline has two adult daughters and a granddaughter, so family life is busy and fun!
