Andrew McGowan is Director of Development and Alumni Relations for Goodenough College, an international, postgraduate, residential community in Bloomsbury, London. Andrew has been fundraising in the arts and education sector for over 20 years working for the Royal Academy of Arts, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields amongst many others.

Andrew has always had a keen interest in music of all genres. Having been brough up in Malvern and taught by Miss Elgar, the composer’s great – niece, Andrew completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at City University in Music and Arts Management respectively and studied the cello at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He started his career in Arts Management and spent nearly 8 years travelling the world with Dame Shirley Bassey.
