Royal Albert Hall displays archive material from Royal Choral Society's 145-year history
As part of the marketing of our 140th annual Good Friday Messiah, the archivists at the Royal Albert Hall have put together a case in the Box Office area that displays some items relating to the choir’s (and hall’s) 145-year history. We have a very strong association with the RAH as we share the same birthday – the choir was formed specifically to sing at the opening of the hall in 1871. These items will be on display until Easter.
