The Royal Choral Society will mark the 100th anniversary of the Great War Armistice on the eleventh day of the eleventh month 2018 with a programme that signifies ‘Remembrance’.

'WE LOOKED FOR PEACE' - ARMISTICE DAY 100 YEARS ON

The Royal Choral Society will mark the 100th anniversary of the Great War Armistice on the eleventh day of the eleventh month 2018, performing Vaughan Williams’ own haunting 'war requiem' Dona Nobis Pacem, set to evocative texts by Walt Whitman. The London Philharmonic Orchestra will also play Elgar’s Enigma Variations in a programme of Remembrance on a momentous day.
